Keeping

you safe.

The situation.

Times are uncertain in the event industry. We went through the phase of “Do we cancel? Do we postpone?” to “When can we be back?”. No one has the answer and in the meantime, we create solutions.

The World Health Organization has new guidelines for mass gatherings. While this isn’t the go ahead to host your yearly conference in-person, it is a glimpse into our future. We all need to consider the risks, think of modifications, and accommodate. Here are some of our current initiatives.

We turned our warehouse into a studio and put our trucks in park. Fatfish Studios is a 17,000 sqft space with the capability to host you and your virtual event safely. Here you can live stream directly from a custom stage or record sessions to be streamed at a later date.

You can feel confident entering our studios. We frequently clean and sanitize the building with EPA recommended products. Its large size allows for proper ventilation and plenty of room for social distancing. Multiple private green rooms ensure your presenters are comfortable during downtime. The setup is tailored to you and your staff. See our exact safety guidelines below.

Initiatives Fatfish is implementing:

  • Social Distancing (keeping crew members 6ft from each other and presenters)

  • Allowing up to 25 people at one time in our warehouse (square footage does allow for more but we are limiting to a safer amount to allow for distancing)

  • Face mask and glove protection (can provide for client if available)

  • Regular hand washing/sanitizing

  • Regular disinfecting of common surfaces (door handles, sinks, light switches, etc)

  • Regular disinfecting of work surfaces (keyboards, radios, headsets, etc)

  • Disinfecting of microphones and any equipment presenters are in contact with

  • Tutorials on placing a microphone, so our team does not need to come in contact with presenter

  • Private green rooms (small spaces for presenters to wait and store personal items)

  • "Sanitation Stations" (provide a space with hand sanitizer, wipes for phones and keyboards, and any necessary cleaners for the client)

  • Staggered rehearsals and presentations

We are constantly thinking of new ways to keep our clients and team members safe. Please notify us with any concerns and we can work towards a solution.

We take care of our team and you. The majority of our staff is working from home and we work in small teams when in studio. We love being on shows as much as you do, but know we all have to take precautions.

While in studio, we encourage our staff to follow guidelines such as wearing a mask, frequent hand washing, and distancing from one another. Work stations are placed strategically apart and equipment is sanitized after using. Minimal contact between our team and your staff ensures everyone stays safe.
